The consortium lead by PWC with Charles Oakes & Co. as sole Declared Subcontractor has won a place in the parallel cascade on the €80 Million CAS Framework Contract at European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), formerly OHIM.  This framework is to deliver Consulting, Audit and Studies to EUIPO for the coming four years.  Located in Alicante, EUIPO has the challenging task of promoting and managing Community Trade Marks and Community Designs within the European Union. It carries out registration procedures for titles to EU industrial property and keeps public registers of these titles. It shares with the courts in Member States of the European Union the task of pronouncing judgment on requests for invalidation of registered titles.

Mr. Charles Oakes, Owner and Managing Director of Charles Oakes & Co. commented: “We are delighted about this latest award with OHIM and the opportunity to support our colleagues at PWC in these highly-specialised fields for the coming four years.”
