For Clients

Work for our clients is carried out completely internationally across borders. We service clients right across Europe, in the USA and some territories of South America. Our own team is equally international.

Our client-base comprises a broad mixture of official organisations and commercial organisations.  Concerning official organisations, we are generally involved in framework contracts resulting from public tenders.  These offer the major advantage of providing 3, 4 and 5-year revenue streams which are generally extremely stable and predictable. We are pleased to have already been awarded significant deals as a Prime Contractor where we provide directly to the ordering official organisation. This maximises our control in the process and ensures premium margins. We are actively seeking partners to form consortia for significant tenders at official organisations.

In other cases we are present as a Declared Subcontractor providing to the prime contractors who in turn deliver to the official organisations.  This is generally on an exclusive or limited-competition basis.  This model allows us excellent access to the very largest deals e.g. DESIS II €200M and to work directly with the giants in the industry such as Unisys and Intrasoft.

We are also providing direct to public utilities on a wide range of services.

In parallel we have a growing client-base in the commercial sector.  Included are global IT Service Providers and larger local organisations.  Business Development and delivery with these organisations involves a very different sales cycle and approach compared with official organisations; we are equally capable of delivering both.

A key factor often mentioned by our clients is the degree to which our services are tailored towards the precise requirements of each client, while always striving to provide the best possible value and remain cost-effective.

In terms of delivering resources, we use a wide range of often innovative models. Freelance resources can have a contract with Oakes, or may in some cases contract directly with our clients.  Permanent resources can under our client’s payroll or our own.  “Try before you buy” if a further frequently used model where resources start as resources charged daily, and if all parties are satisfied, later join the client’s payroll.  In the other direction we also frequently place resources from our clients on our payroll, and on freelance contracts with us where this is advantageous to client and resource.
