An exciting, long-term opportunity is available at European Parliament in Brussels for a Java Developer.

Working under our contract with European Parliament you will help our client accomplish their mission to promote democracy and human rights – not only in Europe, but also throughout the world.

We are searching for a candidate with a following profile:

• Minimum 8 years of experience with Java projects;
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, XML, Spring, Tomcat, Hibernate, Maven is mandatory;
• Experience with J2EE, HTML/CSS, Spring Data, Restful web services, HornetQ, JSon, SVN, Oracle;
• Master in Computer Science is mandatory;
• Excellent English, knowledge of French would be an asset;
• Able to act as a single point of contact with the client to assist in needs within the project.

The position is offered as a long-term freelance contract. Applicant should be able to start in May.
