About the Project
We are seeking a UX expert to support our customer in Alicante, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), for the improvement of one of the online Technology Guides. The project aims to enhance the user experience, focusing on information retrieval, search functionalities, navigation, and report generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a UX analysis of the current web tool, considering future developments.
  • Provide written suggestions for improvements, including wireframes where appropriate.
  • Focus on optimising the information retrieval process, search functionalities, website navigation, and report generation.
  • Ensure recommendations are consistent with EUIPO web standards and suitable for a multilingual, culturally diverse EU audience.
  • Deliver an intermediate UX improvement report (within 4 weeks) and a final report (within 6 weeks), incorporating feedback.
  • Collaborate remotely, with potential for on-site meetings if required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in UX analysis and design for web tools, ideally in public sector or compliance-related domains.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX improvements, wireframing, and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with multilingual and multicultural user bases.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality documentation in English.
  • Experience with EU web standards or similar frameworks is an advantage.
