Financial Internal Control Framework Experts , come join our Luxemborug based team working with a pivotal European institution ensuring financial stability within the European region. This role is based in Luxembourg, with a combination of on-site and off-site work expected. The successful candidate will embark on a contract from 07 October 2024 to 31 January 2025, with potential for further extensions.

About the Role

The ICF Expert will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the company’s Internal Control Framework (ICF), focusing on IT controls and end-user computing applications. This position demands a professional capable of conducting comprehensive reviews, developing new operating procedures, and ensuring all processes align with the highest standards of internal control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and documenting IT Application Controls and End-User Computing Applications.
• Conducting thorough reviews and updates of existing operating procedures to reflect changes in the ICF processes.
• Developing new operating procedures and process flows with control-risk matrices, including IT Automated Controls (ITACs).
• Ensuring all documentation is maintained accurately within SharePoint and other relevant platforms.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 6+ years of experience in designing procedures, controls, and processes.
• Proven track record of at least 3 comparable missions within the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of international standards regarding internal controls, fraud risk, business continuity, and financial sector regulations within the EU.
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office, alongside excellent written and spoken English.
• Outstanding communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
