Charles Oakes & Co. & Unisys win deal with OHIM Alicante

Charles Oakes & Co. in Partnership with Unisys wins €13M deal with OHIM Alicante.

The consortium of Charles Oakes & Co. and Unisys has been selected to be the first priority contractor in a cascading framework contract with a value of €13 million for the provision of programme and project management and technical consultancy in the field of Information Technologies for OHIM, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs). The contract runs for 4 years.

OHIM located in Alicante, has the tasks of promoting and managing Community Trade Marks and Community Designs within the European Union. It carries out registration procedures for titles to EU industrial property and keeps public registers of these titles. It shares with the courts in Member States of the European Union the task of pronouncing judgment on requests for invalidation of registered titles.

For Charles Oakes & Co. the work involves the provision of expert resources on a time and material basis across the organisation.
